As much of the world rests in a still hush this morning, might we find moments of clarity to observe and acknowledge those who left our planet way too soon and might we too acknowledge the parts of the world, (as we must acknowledge the parts of our inner world) in need of unburdening and reintegration into the fortuitous flow of love.
Let it be so.
“What’s possible?” we ask.
What’s possible on the other side of a suffering world is a compassionate one.
What’s possible on the other side of separation is unity and collaboration, continuity and worthiness —for what is worthy is held in reverence.
These pillars of possibility are also pillars of our communities.
“It takes a village to raise a child.”
It is said by some cultures that any illness which afflicts any one person is itself an expression of the root cause which lives in the structure of the village. Healing is a transformation.
So let us see deeper into our natural rhythms of life that this turning of a new year represents more than new beginnings —more specifically it highlights choices.
Choices to be kind.
Choices to decide fairness.
Choices to express our suffering that they might be lifted.
Choices to live what we can dream into aliveness.
My wish and my welcome to the table of 2023 is a new year of new possibilities and new opportunities in collaboration with compassionate choices. May we meet each other above battle or by crossroad as brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers and peace builders and healers —as humanitarians.
Spread your wings!
Wishing you all a Happy and Joyful New Year!
