It feels good to begin a new year. A fresh start offering new possibilities and new opportunities.
To begin again in the spirit of hope, realigned with principles for a worthy and meaningful life is a beautiful thing.
It’s what we all strive for through mindful practices, reading, meditation, church and even exercise. We celebrate “out with the old and in with the new.”
Not of personal items or material gain, but rather we welcome in new ideas and new ways of living.
The end of a year has always been a time of reflection and holidays often serve in most wisdom traditions as guideposts that incorporate forgiveness and gratitude to help us shift our thinking. In solitude or in celebration with family and friends, we are gifted a space between worlds and the opportunity to evolve from an operating system of survival into one of inclusion, collaboration and respect for this living blue planet —we are all part of.
For me in 2022, I wish to be a little less judging and a little more kind to the parts of all of us that are wounded and hurting. To become more compassionate to our inner children which of course leads us to be kinder, more compassionate and empathetic toward our world at large as well.
Let’s welcome this new year by saying yes to life and to all the working parts of life that sustain health and wellbeing. Let’s say yes to our realigned selves. Yes to that wish —that wants to connect with each other and explore a world with fresh eyes and new experiences.
Let’s make all efforts to connect more intimately with a heartfelt intention:
“What might we discover together?”
